Construction of stormwater collectors, Venezuela
The project consists of three operative axes:
- Structural prevention: sediment control, canalization of water obstacles, bridges and structures of unloading in the sea.
- Nonstructural prevention: monitoring of the Tacagua River basins through a network of hydroclimatological measurements and a flood simulation model, the implantation of an alert system (the SAT) that informs in real time the organisms in charge of the civil security, prepare the population in case of emergencies.
- The focused social reconstruction particularly to the environmental cleaning by means of the installation of waters collectors and rainwater through the construction of collectors and by means of the harvesting of solid waste.
